Keith Urban flew into San Francisco this past week, following several performances in California, to film the video for his just released new single “Once In A Lifetime.” Directed by Chris Hicky (“Making Memories Of Us,” “Better Life” and “Tonight I Wanna Cry”, the one-day shoot was apparently met with unseasonably beautiful weather, adding to the picturesque beauty of San Francisco. On-lookers gathered while Urban and band rocked at the end of a small pier performing the song with the city skyline and majestic Golden Gate Bridge in the background.
The band, Jerry Flowers (bass/backing vocals), Steve King (keyboards and backing vocals), Chris Rodriguez (guitar and backing vocals), Chris McHugh (drums), were joined by Aussie native Jedd Hughes on mandolin. Urban was also filmed at the edge of a peninsula jutting out into the Pacific Ocean.
“Once In A Lifetime” was released this past week and is the new single from Urban’s as of yet untitled forthcoming album slated for release late this Fall. Currently fans can hear the song online at www.keithurban.net , as well as on country radio station websites across America.
