Man, is there some hot country out at the moment. We sure are ending the year with a bang.

I'm really into Steve Azar's new single, "Doin' it Right" at the moment. Guess it sums up a few things........"Been doing' it wrong for so long, I sure oughta know what it finally feels like to be doin' it right"

I also can't get enough of Australia's Adam Brand's latest single off his "Get Loud" cd, "This Time of Year" has to be one of the best singles he has ever recorded. This one is a must hear! Adam has to be a red hot favourite to take out a few golden guitar awards in January when they hit Tamworth again.

Jeff Bates has another winner with "No Shame". This one's of his "Good people' cd. Jeff truly is one of the most under rated singers out there. This guy sings with so much power and emotion. He lives the song, and takes you in there with him.

Lastly Aaron Lines' "Lights of my Home Town" is another great track from the Canadian. I guess you can relate to this one when you live away from your own hometown. Not his best, but a solid release from the cd that should chart well in Canada once again.

I so totally agree with you about Jeff Bates.  Why isn't he more recognized? He is my absolute favorite. I flew to Texas just to see him in person. I love 'no shame' and my radio station doesn't even play it.  I'm ready to move to Tn.!!

we have had "No Shame" on rotation for a while now. Great single. Keep an eye out for it in coming weeks on the ChartCountry Top 40, once there, it will get even more airplay

 What part of the country is ChartCountry in? Thanks for answering my post.  Do you know why Jeff only plays in that half of the country??


I belong to another message board and some of them have seen him 10-11 times in the last year. And why doesn't he do videos?


I don't know if you have any answers but I would appreciate any information that you do have.

Jeff Bates is a great guy. I think he might of done 2 videos. One for Long slow kisses & I think he did one for The love song.
