Country music superstar Toby Keith made headlines recently with his industry-changing decision to open his own stand-along label, Show Dog Nashville. And that label is now making a little bit of history of its own, landing its debut single, Keith's "Big Blue Note," at No. 35 on the Radio & Records Country Singles chart in only its first week of release.
The impressive open makes "Big Blue Note" the highest-debuting single from a new label since R&R's inception in 1973. "We have the best in talent with Toby Keith and the best staff in the business.' said George Nunes, GM Show Dog Nashville. 'It's a great feeling to make history.'
