KEITH URBAN FANS TO KEEP ON “LIVIN’ RIGHT NOW” WITH FIRST EVER CONCERT DVD

August 25, 2005 – Multi-platinum artist Keith Urban has captivated audiences around the world with his astonishing live performances and is now set to release his first ever concert DVD Livin’ Right Now on September 27th. The two-hour DVD concert features a virtual ‘greatest hits’ of Urban’s music including all six of his #1 singles. “Days Go By” and “Making Memories Of Us,” from his double platinum album Be Here, as well as his record breaking #1 “Somebody Like You,” “You’ll Think Of Me,” “Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me” and more are all included on Livin’ Right Now. In addition to the 18 songs, the DVD also features behind the scenes footage including Urban at sound check and personal perspectives from Urban about his music.

Shot last year in Los Angeles during Urban’s two-night stint at the Wiltern Theater, the DVD features a powerhouse team of creative professionals including director Jim Gable, whose credits include live concerts for Sting, The Rolling Stones and David Bowie, and Chris Hicky, who served as the project’s co-editor. Hicky has directed videos with Urban including “Making Memories of Us.” Livin’ Right Now is filmed in high definition and is available in 5.1 surround sound.

Also featured on Livin’ Right Now is the first and only commercial audio release of Urban’s rendition of Billy Thorpe’s “Most People I Know (Think That I’m Crazy)” featured in the GAP fall campaign “Favorites.” Livin’ Right Now gives fans the full live experience, including three songs filmed at sound check, as well as an elaborate photo ‘hut’ with numerous exclusive live shots.

Members of Urban’s fan club Monkeyville will get a passport stamp when they purchase a DVD. These stamps can then be redeemed for a chance to win prizes including concert flyaways, free or discounted merchandise and access to front row tickets. Additional information on Monkeyville is also included on the DVD.
