Do anyone know where Tracy Lawrence's new single " Used to the Pan" is on the Charts?  I notice that it is not on / in the Top 40 here.

It came out several weeks ago.  I haven't heard it yet.  Some people who have heard it say that it is one of his best songs yet.  I also heard that his new album will be out in September.  It has been delayed for some reason as it was supposed to be released in April of this year.  The new album is being produced by James Stroud, his producer for most his past hits and albums.  The talk that I heard is that it is better than last year's "STRONG" album.

Now that you mention it (best song yet) the dj's did say that when they first started the song..that it is Tracy's best song yet.  I really like him, but actually dont even have one of his cd's.  Have to add him to my list.

Sorry about the emoticons being added to your user name in my last reply.  Hope you didn't take it the wrong way.  I tried to add these emoticons to the end of my reply but somehow they were added to your user name instead.

If you want to get his CD's then order his "The Best of Tracy Lawrence" and "Strong" albums. You will not be disappointed with these albums.  Another artist that I find really good to listen to is Mark Chesnutt.  He has some good songs and albums out as well.

I you can afford it, I suggest you buy Mark Chesnutt's album "The Best of Mark Chesnutt-The Millennium Collection, 20th Century Masters.  A lot of his best songs are on this album.  These songs truly represent Mark Chesnutt and his unique sound and music.  I think you will thoroughly enjoy this album of Pure Traditional Country Music.  Mark Chesnutt is one of the very very few Country artists praised by the "Possum" himself George Jones.  George Jones calls Mark Chesnutt "The Real Deal".

There is another song put out by Tracy Lawrence last spring in April?? called "If I Don't Make It Back".  I haven't heard this one either.  People say this is a good song as well.  They don't play Tracy Lawrence much in Canada.  Don't know why??  He is on top of the Billboards and Charts with George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, etc. in the USA.

Tracy stated one day when being interviewed on the Red Carpet CMA awards that "Paint Me A Birmingham" was similar in popularity to his big hit several years ago called "Texas Tornado".

"Can't break it to my heart", Sticks and Stones", "Time Marches On", Alibis" and Better Man, Better Off" by Tracy Lawrence are excellent as well.  He has several more on his last album "STRONG" besides "Paint Me A Birmingham" that are good and do not get any air time-i.e. "Strong", "Stones" and "Sawdust On Her Halo" are excellent.

Two very good and excellent songs by Mark Chesnutt are "She Was" and "I'll Think Of Something". Give them a listen and you will se what I am talking about-you will not be disappointed.

So I clicked on Tracy Lawrence to enter the charts this week and nothing happened. I went tot he results of the poll and showed Dirks Bentley in the lead. Not sure if my vote for Tracy Lawrence to enter the charts registered. Did I do something wrong?

Submit Vote was blacked out on my screen and couldn't see it initially.  Okay now.  Figured out where it is on the page.  Thanks

Another couple of songs of his taht you may enjoy are "My Second Home" and "Can't Break It To My Heart".  The first song title mentioned was done with a number of artists such as Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, etc.  John Anderson and Tania Tucker were on this video as well.  A great video-quite a laugh and very funny ending.  You will really like these two songs.

I was waiting for it to come out for sale / distribution.  Thanks for the info, will order it in advance.  I need to order Patty Loveless's new CD as well.  May order George Jones CD with the last fifty years of top hits as well.  As you can see, I love Traditional Country Music.

Thanks,
Patrick

Is it a good song to listen to?  I was told that it is his best song yet.  I have been trying to get the radio stations to play it here in Southern Ontario but have no luck with them playing it yet but then again I am not listening to the stations 24 hrs / day.  I guess that I will hear the song in person on September 23, 2005.  I have two tickets for my wife and myself to hear him sing at Seneca Falls Casino in Niagara Falls, New York, USA which is across the Canadian / USA border and only 50 minutes drive from my house.  There are still some tickets available at $25.00 US per ticket at Ticket Master.  I have tickets to see George Jones at a show in Hamilton on October, 2005 as well.
