your welcome very much - thanks for posting a link to shane. Had never heard of him. If hes good, its yet another name to add to my growing list of cds i have yet to buy - mostly indies. Check out Seth Turner, Chris Brade of Frank Rose - they are pretty good

I tell ya this box is gettin a might crowded lol I have heard some of the best music from indies. So many people we wouldnt hear anything about for years if at all. Its such a shame that there are such great artists out there who cant get a contract but some fool company decided to release William Hung's garbage.

Tuck.. You got that right.. I swear he was signed just as a marketing gimmick so people would buy his BS just to see if it really is that bad. Wouldn't you think it's be easier to sell someone who can actually sing. Even Milli Vanilli could fake it better than William Hung.. Pretendign to be good is still better than really being awful.

just wanted to let everyone know.. Shane's CD "Let's Get On It" went on sale Aug 23rd.. I'd have let you know sooner.. But with work, having to be at Wal-Mart with my wife midnight on the 22nd to get the CD, and last nights concert & party for Shane.. Looked like better than 2500 people in attendance. Great show, he had 3 artists opening up for him.

Let me know what you think of his CD; I'll be sure he gets the word when we talk to him next time.

As for the concert attendance.. I was apparently WAY off.. according to the radio station.. it was from 6500 to 7000 people there.. Shane said it was very overwhelming to come out to see that many people there for him. They had a GIANT( as in maybe 12-15ft) banner of his CD cover that they unveiled to him befor he started his part of the show.

He'll be back at Cowboys on my wife's B-day so we're going to have a party for her there.
