If you do not already have The Rainbow Man CD, go get it.  It is well worth the money.  Jeff has the voice of an angel and gives me goose bumps every time he sings.  I am going to see him live this year and just cannot wait.  The Rainbow man cd is the best cd I have heard in a long long time.  I just love the whole album.  Not a song that I don't like.

Welcome a board

Is it just me or do you think Jeff resembles Michael from Extreme Home Makeover?

Jeff Bates Helps Raise Money For Family of Natalee Holloway
With the help of the Good People of Meridian, Mississippi, RCA Records artist Jeff Bates helped to raise more than $8000.00 last week for the family of Natalee Holloway, the teenager who disappeared while on vacation in Aruba.

Natalee’s father lives in Meridian and last week the local radio station, WOKK, held a fundraiser selling “Pray for Natalee” signs. At a cost of $10 each, the money raised goes to help offset expenses incurred by the family.

When Jeff heard about the fundraiser, he called the station and offered a meet and greet pass to his upcoming show at the Neshoba County Fair on July 26 to every sign holder. That afternoon in the Wal Mart parking lot, hundreds of fans, concerned citizens and just plain good people, turned out to help a family in need. More than $8000 was raised, and they sold out of signs.

The radio station received a new shipment of signs today, and Jeff says every sign sold between now and the show is an instant meet and greet pass. To purchase a sign, please contact WOKK at 601.693.2664

“Good People,” the first single from Jeff’s sophomore album, was the most added song at radio last week and tied for third this week. You can find Good People in stores October 25.
