It's official! According to the MCA website, Gary's newest single "Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning) will be released on May 23rd!!! So all you Gary fans, let's get ready to request!!!
The new CD is suppose to be out sometime this fall, but I would think that if they release his song at the end of May, that the CD would follow a little sooner to help move the song up the charts.
I have finally heard Gary's version of the song. Very emotional. It makes me just want to cry knowing why he decided to record this song. It takes alot, imo, to put your emotions out there like that for everyone to see.

It is a very emotional song and yes, knowing why he is signing this song is very hard.
I called the new station we have here yesterday and asked for them to play it but was told that because they are a new station they dont get new songs/cd's from the labels right away. I think they even said they had to go to the store a few weeks ago to buy a cd that came out so they can play it. Well I get an email last night from the dj i was talking to and he says call me during the noon hour and we'll get it on for ya - had to get it off the internet he says- sure enough i call and request it and he played it right away. How awesome is he!!

I thought it was cool too, then I call the next day and request it and he says Oh, we just played it yesterday so im not sure we can get it back on. What's up with that??? I have been requesting on the links that people are posting on the Waterin Hole. Figure if I can't get it played here I'm gonna help elsewhere.
