Ok- I have always been a follower of Toby's. I read alot of things people say about how he carries himself these days as opposed to early days of his career. In my opinion, he should be able to carry himself anyway he wants. It is afterall his career, he's paid his dues,played by the industry rules - and now he is being who he is -isn't that what is really important, being who you truely are?
I know there has been a lot of bad publicity surrounding Toby over the past couple of years, but for me, regardless of what an artist does in their personal life (well, to a certain extent anyways aka Michael Jackson), I find that i respect an artist for their contribution to music, the messages they send out with their lyrics, and the power behind their melodies
I agree with you hes paid his dues. If you know what your fans want go with it. Tobys music is awesome. Hes not too shabby himself. Ha Ha Tobys #1 in my book.
The new country weekly mag has part 2 of the interview with Toby. It has pictures from waaayyy back when his oldest was little. He looks sooo very different. oh and that hat!!!

It's not too bad, the video-oh brother! For me actually, I think the song title says it all. I'm Not As Good As I Once Was.
I saw Toby in concert once in 2002 right when all the garbage with -who's that news anchor who didnt want him on his program?? i cant remember. Anyway, the show was really awesome. Rascal Flatts opened for them and they were so awesome live. It was a sold out show, first time a show held there (fairgrounds) was sold out EVER!! Thousands and thousands of people. I was in the 7th row and forgot my camera at home man was I ticked off!!

I won an IPod with the complete Toby music library included on it. I totally did not think i would win and was very surprised when i got the call the other day. But now I have to wait 6-8wks to get it..so not liking that!

I listen to the broadcast of After Midnight with Blair Garner on a local station here. On the website they have weekly contests that you can enter online. I entered and was the lucky winner.
