I finally picked up Shooter's new cd and I think it's great! I'm really looking forward to seeing the a show he is doing with Skynyrd and 3 Doors Down for the summer. I keep playing the new cd for people I work with at umgd. The favorite so far seems to be Some Rowdy Women and Electric Rodeo.
Other than Aviators the only thing I have heard from Shooter Jennings is I'm A Long Way From Home on the Walk The Line Soundtrack. I found it kinda spooky how much he looked & sounded like his dad Waylon in the movie.
"Electric Rodeo" ... the CD and the hit song (but not Shooter's) was recorded by aussie superstar LEE KERNAGHAN.
Lee is the most incredible artist on the planet. If you want to hear the most fantastic Electric Rodeo, I suggest you get Lee's CD from 2000 of the same name. He's a legend.
I think I read somewhere that he sent Shooter a copy of his CD.
