I think it's pretty cool that "They Don't Understand" is getting some recognition here. I live in Mpls. and there is a refusal to play it here. I see other markets and people are lovin it. I hope the religious reference in the last verse isn't creating an uneasy feel for the music directors. I don't believe it's a numbr 1 but top 10 easy. Any thoughts on why some are grapping it so ferouciously and others are leaaving it alone?
well i can speak for us, and say that our policy is to play good music. regardless of whether it's political, religious or controversial. We actually play a fair bit of Sawyer Brown anyway.
The guys have been picking up quite a few email votes each week too, the single seems to be pretty popular not only in the US but also downunder too
I have not heard anything new from Sawyer Brown in a while. I don't know if it is just that my local stations aren't playing them or if they have not come out with anything new.
I just found ChartCountry yesterday and now when I'm home that is what I am listening to. Like the music, thanks.
