Toby Keith's first feature film, Paramount's Broken Bridges, will premiere in Nashville on Sept. 7 and open nationally at movie theaters on Sept. 8. Keith makes his acting debut as a down-on-his-luck country music singer who returns to his hometown to discover a daughter he has never met. Actress Kelly Preston co-stars as his old flame, with newcomer Lindsey Haun in the role of the 16-year-old daughter. Keith provided seven new tracks for the soundtrack album to be released Aug. 29 on his own Show Dog label. The first single, "Broken," is sung by Haun, who will be joining Keith on his upcoming tour with Joe Nichols and Rushlow Harris. Keith teamed with Willie Nelson and gospel music great BeBe Winans to record a version of "Uncloudy Day" for the soundtrack that also includes tracks by Scotty Emerick, Matraca Berg, Sonya Isaacs, Rushlow Harris, Flynville Train and Fred Eaglesmith.
