with all of the interest in Tracy lately, we've replaced the Shania Twain forum with one for Tracy. There just was'nt enough interest in Shania, and given the fact that she has 100s of forums anyways, here's hoping you guys have fun in the new forum

Thanks Mike for starting this Forum on Tracy.  Just noticed it this morning.  I think that he is starting his way back to the top.  His new songs "Used To The Pain" and "If I Don't Make It Back" are really great.  The first one may make it to # 1 yet but the second song will definitely go to # 1 shortly after it is released on the charts and billboards as a single.

Sincerely,

Patrick

This is great. Nice choice to replace Shania with Tracy. He IS Country and she's not. But, I hope we can get many posts here for Tracy! And get the word out about this awesome new CD. The re-recorded songs are better than the first time, (if that's possible) you can go back to the original songs and then listen to the new cd and hear how his voice has grown and matured. It's truly a have-to-buy CD!! "Used to the Pain" is just a wonderful song that deserves to be at the top of the charts and "If I Don't Make It Back" will be !!

Thanks for this forum. Hi Patrick! Thanks for the info on this forum!

Thanks for visiting this Forum, DeAnn and welcome aboard.  Great that there is another member on this board/site and rooting for Tracy Lawrence.  Mike, DeAnn is another Tracy Lawrence Fan Club Member like myself.  I asked that Fan Club members visit chartcountry to view the boards particularly the Forum on Tracy Lawrence.  There sohould be a lot more Tracy Lawrence Fans visiting here as soon as the word spreads a bit more.  Notice that he is # 8 this week with Used ToThe Pain on Chartcountry  Top 40.  Great!!  Hope to get him eventually to  the # 1 spot with this single.

Sincerely,

Patrick

You are right Butterfly.  Tracy Lawrence is True Traditional Pure Country.  A few others are like him but he has a very distinctive sound and twang to his voice and music unlike anyone else that sings this genre.  He is one of the Best out there at least since 1991 and right up to today.  Thanks Mike for putting "If I Don't Make It Back" on the radio.  A lot of people agree with you about this being a good song.  I will copy and paste into a message later what a number of other people in the Music Industry have to say about this particular song.

Sincerely,

Patrick

This is one comentary about "If I Don't Make It Back".

Patrick

“If I Don't Make It Back” written by Bobby Pinson and Brett Jones

When I got my hands on this gem, the demo was real rough and everyone, including James, had reservations about it. But when we got in the studio, the A-team (Nashville's premiere studio musicians) really came through for me. Every one of them came in and said, "This is one of the best records I've ever heard." That's when you know you've got something. I think this song has the potential to be one of my biggest hits ever. The combination of the lyric, the hook, and the fiddle is just overwhelmingly powerful. There's magic in it.
