All I can say is a big He Ha and Yaa Hoo. The two Kings of Country Music, George and Tracy, are going on Tour together next year. The Tour starts on January 12/06 and goes at least until sometime in June 2006. You know what is even better abouty this Tour is that a number of concerts / shows will be in Canada.

Not sure if there will be more dates announced particularly for Canada. Notice there are only 23 concerts shown in the list above. Don't know if there will be any concerts announced for Ontario Canada. I am hoping there will be some for Ontario.
I hope being on tour with George will give his song and his new album the publicity he needs to get back to the top. This has to be one of the best shows of all time.

Haven't posted here in a while. Sorry for the long absence. The George Strait / Tracy Lawrence Tour has started with 2 shows completed in Des Moines and St. Paul. Willy Nelson, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Brad Paisley, Terri Clarke, Alan Jackson, Diamond Rio, Neil McCoy, etc. etc. etc. are coming to Ontario this year and this is just the announced made with only 2 weeks into the new year. This is going to be a good year for American Country Music Artists coming to Canada. Tracy Lawrence has announced 1 or 2 shows so far for Onatario with him headlining. Everyone keep your ears and eyes tuned to the radios and artists websites as they may be a number of shows announced for Ontario soon for the George Strait / Tracy Lawrence Tour after they finish their 6 shows in the Canadian Prairie Provinces. Waiting to get tickets for the Alan Jackson show, got tickets for the Brad Paisley and Terri Calrke shows and going to do my dammedest to get tickets to the George / Tracy Tour if and when they become available.
Folks, I have the tickets. Two tickets for Row 11 right near the centre stage. Got them while at work from TicketMaster.ca. Folks, the tickets were going fast and furious in Ontario yesterday morning for the Hamilton, Toronto and Ottawa concerts. People had been lined up since at least 4:00am yesterday morning outside the Copps Coliseum in Hamilton waiting for it to open to buy tickets. As stated above, I got mine through the internet at TicketMaster.ca this morning from TicketMaster.ca at 10:02am.
Listening to the Country95.3 radio station DJ's in my office yesterday morning (Mookie and Lea), the announcer stated one time around 11:15am Ontario time that tickets went on sale at 10:00am yesterday morning and if you never had any tickets at that time, then you may be out of luck as he figured they were sold out already. The radio stations were having give away contests for concert tickets all week for the George Strait/Tracy Lawrence/Miranda Lambert concerts here in Ontario. This is the first time that George Strait has been in Ontario for more than 12 years and at least several years since Tracy Lawrence has been in Ontario.
George Straits Fan Club members had all of Thursday to get first crack at the tickets as well. With people waiting on their computers for 10:00am Ontario start time to get tickets through TicketMaster, other people standing outside the various ticket centres/venues in Ontario and other people waiting outside the 3 large Venues (Copps Coliseum, Molson AmphiTheatre, & The Crel Centre), you can see why the tickets were probably sold out by noon yesterday in Ontario if not sooner. I think the announcer above was referring to the Hamilton and Toronto concerts about tickets mentioned earlier.
