As most of you are aware, we have been running with two mailing lists for some time now. The first one, which features a color letter with polls etc, has been full for some time, with the second one being a black and white one now the primary newsletter for new subscribers.

Having issues with the second one this morning, which the majority of people are recieving. Hoping to get it up and running again soon (awaiting an answer from the admin). If you are recieving the first issue, you should have it already.

Will update when news comes to hand, but for now, details are below this post

As many of you noticed we had no update to the chart last week. Apologies for the update letter not going out!
I spent the week in Tamworth, for the Australian Country Music Awards and music festival, or as we call them, the Golden Guitars.
Had an awesome time up there, although the 9 hour drive is always a killer! Hoping to get some photos uploaded to the site etc in the next week or so, time permmitting.
One of the things I love about these festivals is getting to meet and discover new acts, one of these this year is a group called Jetty Road, who hail from Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. Great sounding group, with two lead female vocals and two guys backing. Ae playing a few of their songs now on CC Radio, so keep an ear out for them......could be Australia's answer to someone like, Little Big Town??
The awards night was once again a showcase of the amazing talent we have downunder in this genre. The McClymonts opened the show, with an upbeat performance that would match any new group coming out of the US at present.
Performances through the night also included Melinda Schneider, Gina Jeffreys (who looked stunning on the red carpet in a green dress),
Lee Kernaghan, Adam Brand, Felicity Urquhart (great single, Big Black Cloud, which ended up winning video of the year), Travis Collins (one of my favourites from the night), Beccy Cole, John Williamson (sung True Blue to kick of the shows finale), James Blundell (who sung the iconic Way Out West), and thats just to name a few of them.
The big winner on the night was Lee Kernaghan, who took home four awards, and now has the second highest total of awards behind the legendary Slim Dusty.

Have a great week, and keep it country!
